Uniroyal® Giant Inflatable Tire on the Road with PBA Tour
Greenville, SC (March 1, 2004) — As part of Uniroyal® Tires association with the Professional Bowler's Association, Uniroyal will follow the PBA Tour from town to town with a giant inflatable tire. Standing approximately 15 feet tall and tethered to the roof of every bowling center that hosts a 2004 PBA Tour tournament, the Uniroyal® Giant Inflatable Tire will enhance the PBA Tour's visibility and create excitement among the city stops on its schedule.
The Giant Inflatable Tire will feature "Uniroyal" written across the top and "Official Tire of the PBA Tour" across the bottom. In place of the spokes, there will be silver bowling pins.
The Inflatable Tire will highlight Uniroyal Tires' two-year exclusive deal with the Professional Bowlers Association as the "Official Tire of the PBA Tour", not to mention gather support for Uniroyal's team of bowlers, who are competing with other sponsor teams for the $100,000 PBA Tour Team championship.
The Uniroyal Team:
